Return & Exchange Policy

To return or exchange online purchases at an AE, AEO Factory Store or Aerie store, please take the invoice included with your order and the credit card used for the original purchase. If you don't have your invoice, you'll be credited the current price of the item in the form of an AE Gift Card. Shipping is not refundable.

1) Return To A Store (It's Free!)

Whether you bought your items online, by phone or in any of our stores; you can return or exchange them at any AEO, Aerie or AEO Factory store in Canada. To find the AE, AEO Factory Store and/or Aerie store nearest you, please use our store locator or call us at 1-888-232-4535.

2) Ship Your Items Back

If you received items by mail, it's easy to send them back!

• Put the items you’re returning in the original package if possible

• Indicate the item(s) you are returning and the reason for your return on your invoice

• Choose a mail carrier, pay for postage, and send it to the address below

Orders placed in store and returned to our distribution center will be processed in USD, with the exception of cash and debit transactions which will be refunded in CAD via mailed check.

By ordering goods from American Eagle Outfitters, I hereby authorize Livingston International (a Canadian customs broker chosen by American Eagle Outfitters) to act as my agent, to: (1) transact business with Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), (2) clear my merchandise; and (3) account for applicable duties and taxes.
